We’ve walked over 100 kms since arriving here in Spain and I’ve only found three evanglical churches.  We’ve talked to a number of people and we’ve only found one that was already a born-again believer.   The need is tremendous.

He is a personality and He has specific roles within the Trinity. Today, the work of the Spirit is perhaps more prominent than that of the other members of the Trinity, having been the protagonist since the church was established in the early book of Acts. For this reason, it is extremely important that we know what the Bible teaches on this doctrine.

One thing I love about missions is going into an area and just meeting people and sharing Christ with these new found friends.

Christ is the center of Christianity. Remove Jesus for Christianity and you have nothing left. The uniqueness of Christianity is the person, Jesus Christ, and the distinctiveness of Christ is the fact that He is the God-Man. The Bible is a unique book among all literature and is foundational for all other Christian doctrines. The Bible is a witness to itself that it is in fact, God’s Word, and as such, is our authority for belief and practice. The Doctrine of the Bible is vital to Christianity. In a world that lacks direction, we need a failsafe compass to guide us. The reformers knew the importance of this doctrine when they led the way with the battle cry of “sola Scriptura” (Scripture only).
